Portable Labs

In order for students in all schools to experience the same, high-quality, hands-on experience CSIT portable technology labs will be available for teachers to take back to their own classrooms for up to 2 weeks at a time and will contain a class set of computers, digital microscopes, digital probes and other digital equipment. By June 2008 we will have 5 complete labs available to New York teachers. The New York Hall of Science is developing a one-week teacher professional development institute that will train teachers on each technology and prepare teachers to use the curriculum modules and the portable technology labs in their own classrooms.
