In the spring of 2008, at the end of our three-year grant funding period, hundreds of teachers and administrators and their students will be invited to participate in a CSIT symposium at the Hall of Science. The symposium will feature Forensic Scientists as guest speakers; provide the Hall of Science with an opportunity to describe and demonstrate the CSIT Labs, its curriculum and training workshops for future users; encourage teachers to apply for the training programs and summer camps and share information about the CSIT Labs with their colleagues; and, the symposium will provide new students with the opportunity to use the CSIT Labs for the first time and an opportunity for students who have been part of our field-testing classes to show off their excellent work.
